United States Grand Prix

2026-10-25·56 laps

Kimi Antonelli converted pole into victory at the Circuit of the Americas, winning by 13.078 seconds on a one-stop medium-to-hard strategy with his only stop on lap 24. Max Verstappen, who started second, was the first front-runner to pit, swapping softs for softs on lap 13, and led while Antonelli made his stop until his own second stop on lap 31; he finished third. Charles Leclerc passed Isack Hadjar for third at the start and took second on a soft-medium-hard two-stop, setting the fastest lap (1:37.976) on lap 42. Lewis Hamilton ran the same two-stop and passed Lando Norris for fourth on lap 51. Norris gained three places from eighth on a one-stop, while Hadjar fell from third to sixth after a 25-lap opening stint on softs. George Russell finished eighth after a five-second penalty for leaving the track at Turn 13. Two Virtual Safety Cars (lap 2 and laps 51–53) did not change the order at the front. Oliver Bearman, Franco Colapinto and Valtteri Bottas retired.
