Kimi Antonelli became the youngest-ever winner of the Monaco Grand Prix, taking his fifth consecutive victory of the season in a dramatic race turned upside down in its closing stages. A late Lance Stroll crash brought out a Safety Car, during which George Russell failed to serve a five-second penalty and was hit with a drive-through, dropping him out of the points entirely. The race was thrown into further chaos when Charles Leclerc crashed on the Safety Car restart, triggering a red flag while the FIA repaired breaking tarmac at the final corner — a stoppage that lasted 37 minutes before the final 10 laps got underway. Lewis Hamilton pressured Antonelli hard in the run to the flag but could not find a way past, finishing second, with Isack Hadjar completing the podium in third after a post-race appeal saga that briefly stripped and then restored his result. The race also produced five separate time penalties, for pit lane speeding, track limits, causing a collision and a false start, reshuffling several places in the points.
