A free 2026 F1 race strategy simulator
PITWALL is a free, browser-based Formula 1 race strategy simulator built around the 2026 technical regulations. It lets you take the role of a race strategist: choose your starting tyre, plan one or two pit stops, configure your ERS energy deployment, and then run a full race against AI rivals to see how your strategy plays out lap by lap.
The goal is to model a 2026 race as realistically as a browser tool reasonably can — not to be a video game, but a sandbox for understanding why real strategy decisions are made the way they are.
The simulator models the elements that decide real Formula 1 races under the 2026 rules: Pirelli C1–C5 tyre compounds with two-phase degradation and a performance cliff; pit stop time loss calibrated per circuit; undercut and overcut windows; the 2026 ERS system with active aero replacing DRS; and race-changing events such as safety cars and red flags. You can run a single race or a Monte Carlo batch to see win probabilities across many simulated outcomes, across all 23 circuits of the season.
